A 3D virtual tour app to visit the Cathedral of Cumana City. The tour features different spots with contextual information that users can interact with, and all models are a highly detailed replica of the real church.

The most technically demanding part was optimizing the graphics to ensure a smooth user experience without sacrificing visual quality, while still capturing all the architectural details of the real cathedral.

Every surface, arch, and ornamental detail was modeled to match the source material as closely as possible, requiring multiple optimization passes to maintain acceptable frame rates on target hardware.

Tech Stack

Built in Unity with all 3D assets authored in Blender. Level of detail systems and occlusion culling were used extensively to preserve performance across the full walkthrough.
